Why Become A Member?

When you join the Home Builders & Remodelers of CNY you are increasing the your professional credibility.

We work, on a local, state & national level to offer members the very best information, advocacy, education, and networking opportunities.

Our objectives are to raise the bar of professionalism and customer service in the industry.  We want to show the consumer that doing business with an HBR of CNY member means you are doing business with a professional.

We also want to offer the value of an HBR membership, through programs, education and services to help all members to grow their own businesses.

When you join the HBR of CNY you also become a member in the New York State Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.  These other two organizations are a great resource to our local association and our members (see below*).

The HBR’s additional role is to serve as our members and their consumer’s best advocate, exercising a strong voice in New York State’s and national legislative actions concerning property taxes and land development.  We work to ensure our members voice is heard; to keep the economy strong and business practices fair.  The goal is to provide customers with well-planned, well-executed, value-priced housing.
